Shonda Rhimes has signed an exclusive multiyear deal with Netflix. Rhimes is responsible for creating successful shows including “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal” for ABC. The series that are already in development for ABC will remain on the network, including a “Grey’s Anatomy” spinoff. — NYT
HBO cyber attack
Hackers who have demanded $6 million from HBO in a ramson attack have leaked several episodes of the network’s shows. These include episodes of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” the latest episode of “Insecure,” and some episodes of “Ballers.” — VARIETY
