An international team of scientists reports they have, for the first time, figured out a way to successfully edit the DNA in human embryos — without introducing the harmful mutations that were a problem in previous attempts elsewhere. The work was published online Wednesday in the journal Nature. — NPR

Lionsgate, and comedian Kevin Hart, have launched a new mobile streaming platform called Laugh Out Loud. It’s featuring stand-up specials and licensed programs alongside original scripted and unscripted comedy series. – Variety
Product placement is alive and thriving in the shows you’re streaming
Though Amazon and Netflix shows don’t pause for commercial breaks, they make up some of the difference with a significant amount of product placement. A company owned by Bill Gates, Branded Entertainment Network (BEN), is one of several dedicated to placing products within streaming content, including scripted shows and videos from digital influencers. – CNBC
