Netflix has renewed “Luke Cage” for a second season
Marvel took to Twitter today to announce that Netflix has renewed Luke Cage for a second season. The announcement comes after the first season premiered earlier this fall to extremely positive reviews about its take on the character. — The Verge
Starz is adding music, courtesy of Spotify, to its video app
Starz is integrating Spotify into its mobile app to allow users to do things like listen to a movie soundtrack or related playlist after watching the movie. Spotify subscribers can link their accounts to hear whole tracks. Starz will also recommend movies and shows based on your Spotify listening habits. — Recode
Mariah Carey will headline the holiday special “The Keys of Christmas,” which will stream exclusively on YouTube Red starting December 19
The show will include original performances from Carey, along with DJ Khaled, Ciara, and Fifth Harmony. — Variety
Hulu will now feature individual streaming profiles
This will allow up to 6 people to maintain their own personal watch lists on the same account. — Engadget
