Netflix drops another $40 million on legendary comedian

Dave Chappelle has cut a deal with Netflix for three new comedy specials. Two of the projects are from Chappelle’s vault and will be released simultaneously sometime next year. The third project will be an original created by Chappelle and director Stan Lathan, who also helmed the comedian’s previous stand-up episodes. — Variety
